Low Carb Is Easy
by Stacy Shanahan

Don’t you hate it when you can never find your favorite low carb recipe when you need it? Can’t remember what website it was on or what book it was in?

“Low Carb is Easy” is the solution to this problem. It is an interactive cookbook that allows you to customize and add recipes so that they are accessible in one convenient place. By purchasing the interactive cookbook, you will have access to 70 delicious, easy to prepare, low carb recipes. Most of the recipes contain less than 3 carbs per serving. If you don’t like one of the ingredients or if you just want to make some changes for variety, you can substitute one or more of the ingredients and it will re-calculate the carb count with your changes. There is a blank recipe template as well for you to add your favorite low carb recipes – ones that you have created, or from other sources. You can keep all your favorite recipes from CarbHealth magazine all in one place!

Some of the recipes include:

Lasagna Chicken & mushroom pie
Spinach and ricotta bake Quiche
Meatloaf Shortbread
Christmas pudding Truffles
Marzipan biscuits Waldorf salad

The cookbook provides tips on setting up your low carb kitchen and includes helpful notes on less common ingredients such as flax seed, tahini, soya flour, and thickeners. There is also a section on common ingredients and a convenient reference table of their carb counts. The cookbook was designed to be used internationally - providing measurement conversions in metric, imperial, and volume.

What I like best is that since there is no software to download or install, you can access and update your personal cookbook from any computer where you can access the internet. If you are at a friend’s, at family’s, or at work, you can log on and easily get the recipes you need. Great for the upcoming holidays!

Interested? I urge you to log on to http://www.lowcarbiseasy.com and take the free tour and demo. The website also provides a number of useful hints, ideas, and links. The cookbook is $23.79 US dollars for an annual subscription, which to me is a steal for the convenience of keeping all my recipes organized and easily accessible!
