Hardee's(R) Adds Charbroiled Chicken Club to Low Carb Menu Options
Three Products Offer Range of Low Carb Choices for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

ST. LOUIS, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Hardee's is now offering a third low carb choice for its customers -- adding the Low Carb Charbroiled Chicken Club(TM) sandwich to a menu that already boasts innovative low carbohydrate breakfast, lunch and dinner alternatives. Now guests at Hardee's can choose either the Low Carb Charbroiled Chicken Club or the already popular Low Carb Thickburger(TM) for lunch or dinner. Since its introduction in December 2003, the Low Carb Thickburger has become one of the most popular burgers on Hardee's menu. During breakfast, guests can opt for the Low Carb Breakfast Bowl(TM), the first low carbohydrate breakfast option in the quick-service restaurant industry.

The Hardee's Low Carb Charbroiled Chicken Club combines many favorites -- a barbeque sauce-glazed chicken breast fillet with bacon, sliced tomatoes, Swiss cheese and mayonnaise, all wrapped in fresh iceberg lettuce leaves. The combination of flavors is reminiscent of a grilled chicken dinner salad but the Low Carb Charbroiled Chicken Club can be consumed on the go since it is wrapped in lettuce leaves and, thus, can be eaten like a sandwich. As with all of Hardee's premium sandwiches and burgers, the product is served in a cardboard carton and "half-wrapped" in paper.

The Low Carb Charbroiled Chicken Club has 11 total carbohydrates. The Low Carb Thickburger, a 1/3-pound Angus beef patty wrapped in iceberg lettuce, was first introduced in mid-December and has 5 total grams of carbohydrates. The Low Carb Breakfast Bowl, introduced on March 15, is a delicious mix of eggs, sausage, crumbled bacon, ham and two kinds of cheese with 6 total grams of carbohydrates.
