HOUSTON (August 19, 2004) – Amid stiff competition and selective judges, CarbWatchers Gold bars, made by Labrada Nutrition, won the gold medal at this year’s NNFA and Better Nutrition’s 10th Annual People’s Choice Awards, held in Las Vegas at the NNFA’s Annual Natural Products Convention & Trade Show on July 17. The award, which recognizes outstanding products in the natural nutrition industry, was submitted to Labrada Nutrition after more than 100 judges sampled more than 50 products in a blind taste test. The CarbWatchersâ Gold Caramel Cookie Twist and CarbWatchers Gold Caramel Peanut protein energy bars tied for the gold medal win in the category “Low Carb Energy Bars.”
