Hidden Carb Calculator

Enter the values on the nutritional information label of the food you'd like to check. This calculator will tell you if there are any uncounted carb grams remaining. If so, these should be added to your total carb count for that food item.

It is highly recommended you contact that food item's manufacturer to inform them of their mislabeling and inquire as to why they held out some of the carbohydrates from their count. Taking steps like this will help insure that manufacturers start taking their labeling more seriously.

Enter values from Nutritional Label below:

Total Calories
Total Carb Grams
Protein Grams

Unlisted Carb Grams:

This calculator uses the following formula:

  • (carb grams x 4) + (protein grams x 4) + (fat grams x 9) = Total Calories
The calculator checks if the carbs, protein and fat listed on your nutritional label add up to the total calories listed per serving of the food item in question. If not, it calculates the calories NOT accounted for and divides that number by four to come up with the possible grams of carbs IF carbs are the source of the discrepancy.
