Miva does not allow for the type of customization that most clients require and it becomes too costly for clients to buy add-ons and modules that will allow such customization. I can work with Magento, OSCommerce, Mal's ecommerce, and PayPal's cart.

PRICING

Since every project is unique, it is hard to give a set number without first understanding what you'll need in a web site.

I typically charge $35 per hour, but this can vary based on the requirements of the project. If there is a lot of javascripting or other coding involved, or if I have to do a lot of research into customizing your existing shopping cart, etc. then the rate can be as high as $50 per hour. If all you need is a banner, it can be as low as a $25 flat fee. For simple web sites with few pages, and a basic layout, I can do package deals for as low as $350. To create a company logo, the typical charge is $350, but if combined with web site design, it is dicounted considerably.

It all depends on the work required to achieve your dream site, and the time-frame in which you need it completed.

Teaching is billed at $40 per hour and can be done remotely via telephone and web, or in person at your home or business if local to the Poughkeepsie, NY or Sturbridge, MA areas. All software needed for training sessions is your responsibility to obtain.

HOW I WORK

Each day that work is performed on your site, you will receive an email outlining how many hours were used, everything that was done in that time, and how many hours you have left in your budget. I don't inflate my hours - you'll know exactly where your time and money are being spent.

If I have more than one project going at a time, I may not work on your site every consecutive day. But you will always be aware of when I am or am not available for your project and every effort is made to accomodate your needs.
