Don't know how much I plan to lose....100 sounds like too big of a goal... atleast for me right now at the start...but I think it may wind up to be that much. I have a pair of jeans I used to wear stashed away someplace. I hope to one day fit back into them...........

Hi! I had 150 pounds to lose when I started "The Hamptons Diet" in August. I've since dropped 22 of those pounds. I've been trying to find anyone that would be my diet buddy, but so far have not had success. I'm faced with donuts and chocolate at work Monday thru Friday. My hubby has been very supportive and we've managed to rid our house of all junk food, sugar, white flour and high-carb foods. We've recently purchased a couple of lo-carb cookbooks and have already found them tremendously helpful and adding variety to our meals. I have only one "crutch" that I've only indulged in a couple times and that is sugar-free chocolate with only 3.7 carbs in a bar. So, I feel I've done pretty darned good sticking with it so far.

I am a diabetic and my blood sug is becoming unmanageable...and I feel terrible most the time. I know I feel bad enough to do something major. Let me know how you all are doing and any advice...I could sure use it and would appreciate that. I really dont want to carry this other Person (150#) around any more...I dont like french fries, bread and cookies that much. email is welcome!!!
