Hello everyone, I have been doing the Atkins WOL for over 7 months now and have lost 62 pounds so far. I still have a ways to go but I fear not becasue I know I have found the WOE that works forr me. I have only cheated once and that was with 4 cc cookies at Xmas time. I am very strick with myself when it comes to my weight loss. I think it might be becasue I have been so free with myself before and all it got me was 325 pounds of unhappy fat lady. I exercise 6 days a week and keep my carbs at around 20 per day. I have found that that works best for me.

I hope to meet all of you and make new friends here. I'm not shy so I'll just jump on in if it is okay.

sounds like you are doing great on this program...maybe we can take some tips from you. Welcome, this really is great support. It just feels so good to know there are other people going thru the same thing as I am.....

Yes I do have the new book but my menu might bore you all. I keep to the basics. I don't use any of the LC products out there except the keto shakes. I stick to fresh lean meats and loe glycemic veggies and maybe on a really reare occation I might have some strawberries. Sorry but I eat very dull food as it were and I hate to cook so the recipes thing is out of the question.

Wow, would I love to lose 62 pounds! Do you actually count your carbs every day? I'm new to this WOE, I'm on my 6th week. I
think I've lost only a few pounds - I hate
weighing myself. Anyway -Congrats!

Great job,congradulations! I'm sure that you will have lots to share with us new ones that are still learning. What is good with as low carbs as you can eat. I have been on it for 5 weeks and so far i have lost 39 pounds but im eating almost zero carbs or as low as i can to lose it before the summer gets here. All your help will be appreciated.

veggies and how much. I would like to decrease my carbs to. I eat almost 15-20 aday.

hi flower, Sorry I have had a hard time to get in this room. But to answer your question I try to stay as low as I can I do eat some carbs,but I do stay around 10 to 15 I try to eat mostly meat,and chicken, I seemed to lose better with the meat, I do have some green salad but they are small and I use a 0 carb dressing. The only thing that I have noticed is my keto stick don't change color if I drink the flavored water. I don't know why it has no carbs. But everytime I drink it I have problem. So now I stay with the plain water and lots of it. Good luck to you flower :p
