It is just MHO of course but I think Induction is best done just as indicated in the book. You lose better that way and you get deep into Ketosis doing it that way too. Here are a few sites that night help you out a bit.

web page LC Induction tips

Justiff,
I would definetely wait on those! After eating the carbolite bar I went into a stall. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or what but I was doing fine until that. -CTRJEG

This diet or woe works best for me when I keep to the basics. I t seems every time I try to add something that sounds too good to be true I stall. I am back on induction and think I will stay here until I can't. I have lost 4 pounds in a week keeping to the induction and would rather have the weight loss tthan the "goodies". Keep up the good work! -CTRJEG

yeah i agree with you I would rather lose the weight to...but is there a time when you are supposed to go off the diet for 24 to 48 hours seems like someone told me that before every 2 to 4 weeks. Does that help in the fat burning also? Tiff

I find that the basics work better for me too. I lose much better keeping it simple tghan when I try to go for variety and treats.

I'm not sure if you are talking about Crown Royal and diet soda but Alcohol slows weight loss quite a bit. It metabolizes in the body as sugar and will be used first for fuel so that even your LC legal food can be stored as fat because the body has enough fuel to opporate from the alcohol. If you don't have to drink it is probably best doing this WOL not to.

No place in the Atkins book does it say to rest up from this WOE for any lenght of time. This is a WOL not a diet so I don't know where that info came from but it is misinfo at it's worst. Don't follow that point of view. That is the same as yo yo dieting and will set you up for a failure for sure.
