Deb- Check the pork rinds for hidden carbs
before you get to carried away with them as
they do have some. Here is how to calculate
hidden carbs. Take your calorie count and
x it by 9 then take the carb count on the bag
and x it by 4 if the bag states o carb this
will be 0. Than take your protein count x 4.
Now add these figure up. Take the bag figure
of calories and - it from your figure that you got and that number is the hidden carbs.
example:
Bag states 60 calories
0 carbs
2 protein

Your figures: 60x9=54
0x4=0
2x4=8 total of 62-60=2 hidden carbs per servings. So check it out. rangehat:

By the way, Herbal, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Now, about pork rinds.....

I buy the hot ones with the spices and they have 2g per serving. I think a serving is about 10 chips. It all depends on what brand you buy.

Also.. pork rinds are notorious for containing a TON of MSG. MSG gives those allergic to nutrasweet the same problems. AND, MSG makes you retain water and bloat. So be sure to take that into consideration before eating too many of them.
