hello! I don't have the atkins book but believe I have to have only 20 carbs a day for 2 weeks then I can go to to 25 carbs a day for one week then go to 30 carbs the next week after that, is that right? how many carbs is the maximum once you get through that? I don't want to start this and not do it right, any help is greatly appreciated.

thank you!!!
Nina

This is not out of any book, but just my advice. I would stay under 20 as long as you can. I have been doing 12 on 2 off since April 4th and I'm down 38 lbs. My initial goal was 50 lbs in 90 days. The 12 on is a bit tough, but with my work schedule, it works. I go a little over board sometimes, but staying under 20 isn't that tough.
