Hi
I was just wondering if anybody knew what the difference between a diabetic / atkins diet is since they are both concerned with having low blood sugar levels?

The ADA diet recommends way more carbs than the atkins diet.

My dad is a type II diabetic and he is med free as long as he is on Atkins. If he goes back on the ADA diet he has to go back on meds. His doctor told him to stay on Atkins.
