Just wondering if anyone has tried carb spiking for a few days to help shift weight once they go back on low carb plan. Ive gone back to do phase 1 atkins agian for last 2 weeks. Last week i lost 6 pounds this week i only lost 2 pounds. |I need to loose 16 pounds by June 1st to hit my target. I thought i might loose 10-12 pounds over the last 2 weeks.

I was thinking of going a bit of a carb binge this weekend and then on Monday back to doing phase 1 again.

Does not sound like a good idea to me. You will get out of ketosis and have to start all over again. Taking in large amounts of carbs is never a good way to continue weight loss. My opinion is that this is a bad idea.
