Started Atkins a Thursday evening almost a month ago. By Friday afternoon had the worse headache of my life. Over the next two weeks lost 10 pounds, then had two days of headaches. And in the two weeks since went up a pound though I have stayed in induction. Fifteen ounces of meat a day, three five ounce meals, 20 carbs, plenty of water. I haven't found the diet difficult at all. Most of the banned items I was barely eating anyway save for fruit. I will tough it out. Five pounds a week was great, zero pounds a week is not.

I'm in almost the same position. I've been on it four months and have lost 25 pounds. But I lost most of the weight at the beginning and about six weeks ago. I was upset until I got out my tape measure and discovered in the time I when I hadn't lost weight, I have lost 7 inches on my hips. I talked it over with a doctor who is also on Atkins and he says when it seems your body is stalled, it is actually redistributing your fat and getting ready to lose more pounds. You have lost 2.5 pounds a week, if you average it out and that's a healthy and sustainable weight loss. Be patient and if you haven't measured your chest, waist, hips, thighs, and forearms, do it now. You will be thrilled at how many inches you have shed, I'll bet. The main thing is- be patient. I don't know about you, but it's taken me years to put on this weight. I can't expect to lose it over night! ;-)

most people have a stall during weeks 3-5, sit tight. its your body shrinking! catching up to the scales, take measurements as the weeks you dont lose pounds you will nearly always lose inches.
20oz of meat is a lot, and excess protein will turn to glucose.
