New to the forum, but not to Atkins. Lost over 60 lbs. 8 years ago on a strict, by the book, Atkins diet.
Since then I've quit smoking, started drinking and became a vegetarian.
I've gained and lost weight. And now, while I'm not where I started 8 years ago, I need to rid myself of those I'm Not Smoking Anymore pounds.
Oh yeah... and I'm going to Hawaii in a few months. THAT's a motivator!
So... 15 grams of carbs a day for 2 weeks. No more veggie burgers, no more corn on the cob, no more pasta and pesto, no more avacado on pita, no more bread and butter. No more beer! Awwwwggerrrrshhhhggg!!! (Wince)
It's pure protein now. For a while anyway.
Just wanted to introduce myself and say a big Hello!
Looking forward to sharing some stories, Lord knows, it's an interesting trip!
