I have been sooo good for almost a month. Very little weight loss. So discouraging. But as I read this forum..I see mannitol seems to be a bad thing. IS there ANY induction safe dessert. I have been doing the no-sugar chocolates...but they have mannitol so they are now out...Would some unflavored Knox geletin witha bit of Splenda and some almond flavoring be OK??? What can I have when I need dessert and still lose??? It is sooo distressing to be in ketosis but not losing.

Sugar free jello is good plus there is a recipe in the South Beach Diet for a ricotta cheese dessert that I absolutely love (especially the mocha one).

Are you exercising, drinking enough water, etc.......

Drinking water like a thirsty camel, exercising. I FEEL great...but darn little in the way of lost inches or weight. I take Cozaar for my blood pressure and Metformin for insulin resistence...any recommendations would be appreciated. I noted you rcommended sugar free Jello...but it has Aspartame.

You know, I never realized the aspartame in the jello. I used it because it was South Beach approved. Will have to stop but definitely try the ricotta creme recipe. I saw you posted basically the same question in another thread. I had answered it with a note about an almond version of the ricotta recipe.

I'd think the metformin might have some effect on weight loss... check with your doc.

Sometimes you may not see scale results, but will feel the weight loss in the waist of your pants or see it in your chin. Some people show poundage loss slower than others but are still losing weight. I know that sounds silly, but it is really true.
