Hi! I am not an expert, but why would you only want to drink 3 shakes and then eat only one meal? The great thing about this wol is that you are able to eat, feel full, and still lose weight! The only thing is that you have to really watch your carb totals. Do you really like the taste of the shakes? My take on this is that if you limit yourself that way, you won't be able to stick with this wol. Just my 2 cents... I hope it helps!

I agree with Jacksyn (hi Jacksyn!!) It sounds more like a slim-fast diet than a low-carb. You should use the shakes when you need a quick meal replacement. The best way to lose on this WOL is to eat, eat, eat!!

Also, taking in 3 shakes a day will send you to the bathroom quite often! Those contain maltitol... and most of us know what maltitol does to your intestines.

What you are describing is a liquid protien diet and it has been proven that all those kinds of fad diets will make you very sick. If a day or two a week you want to have a shake as a meal replacement then that is fine but to rely on them for all your nutritional needs is going to do more harm than good in the long run.
You got to eat to lose so your metabolism can stay set to burn fat. There are no short cuts to this WOL. Try to relax into it and treat it as a wOL and lose the weight the health way.

Plus the Atkins shakes are nasty. If you want a really good tasting shake try the keto shakes they are much better as a meal replacement every now and again.

Hello Jerrilive,
I agree with my carb buddies. You need to start the diet with the induction. Do you have the new
book? It will help you understand the importance of cleaning your body of the carbs. This wol works if you do it the right way. So try all that delicious bacon and eggs and meats it is so good,
and you will lose the weight. I started in Feb and
have lose close to 17lbs. I love the wol and it only gets easier, sometimes you will get the cravings for something sweet, but there are things
you can eat once you are off induction.(sugar free jello etc). I hope this helps.
