ok, it's been 48 hours have been on Atkins....and so far all is well I am no longer hungry and craving food. The last time I had success but I think I wasn't following it compleatly....for example I wasnt measuring the veges. and all plus I was eating the atkins bread and that was my ? is that legal during induction or no....I have read the book but I think alot of new things are out since the book. I know the LC treats are out and that doesnt bother me much but I do like having a toast in the moring with the breakfast. Yhanks all and good luck. I feel really good about this. I even started back to the gym and although I have yet to weigh....I know I need to so I will know where I started....but after seeing myself in the floor to ceiling mirror in my yoga class I can kind of guess where I am ......lol

I'm not a believer in all of these prepackaged low-carb items........read the labels...one of the items that's a no no on low carb is white flour.....what are the ingredients? Sugar alcohols such as maltitol are not good......noxzema, your agreement here would be appreciated. If you really want that toast, hold off for the two week induction and then go for whole grain bread.......you can do this.

Thanks, I will definatly check the ingredients. Actually it is called wheat and fiber bread it has like 11 grams of carbs and 6 grams of fiber per/ slice and no maltinol thats the reason I thought it may be legal lol... but I am going to hold off until after induction, which is another week. I prefer to stick close to induction anyway, I feel do better that way and it saves the trouble of trying to add in all those extra foods and carb counts plus I have like 60 pounds to lose and I would like to have it off by summer if at all possible. How about you all? Does anyone else need to lose more than 50 ? It seems so far away right now. Also, how often do you all weigh? Thanks for any advice. It's great to be able to come here and talk to others with like goals. Have a great day everyone!!!
