Hi, I am starting my fourth week overall, and my second week on OWL. I have successfully lost weight on Atkins before, but always seemed to fail at the OWL stage. I was either doing Induction or overloading on carbs. My weight crept up over the summer, and I am really committed to losing what I gained, and going beyond to my original goal of 153 lbs, doing Atkins the proper way. I started at 179 and am currently down to 164.
I am comfortable with the concept of OWL, but I would appreciate hearing any successes or difficulties any of you have had during OWL that I can learn from. I do Tae Bo, run and lift weights during the week, and I am busy trying lots of new LC recipes to maintain variety.
Thanks!

I am sure you will do great... Make sure you are getting the support you need while on OWL... I find it easier to have people that are going through the same thing as you around you. I go to a chatroom that really helps me.. there are people there 24/7.

Surround yourself with like minded peeps... they will help you stay on track.

I've been in OWL about 10 months but I'm slowly drifting to pre maintenance. I wish I had some magic words for you, but to be honest I had very good success just following the book as closely as possible and avoiding the processed low carb foods. I just don't get as hungry as I used to anymore and when I do I find a protien type snack is very satisfying, like a hard boiled egg or piece of cheese. Good luck, if I can make it I know anyone can [Smile]
