Just began Induction on 08-10-2004. Week One was great -- I was very energetic, lost about 6 pounds, felt great and got rid of a lot of symptoms I was having that I did not realize were probably related to blood sugar problems. So that was all good.
Week Two has not been so good. First, I was "up" by about 4 lbs the past two days and that was really discouraging. Today I've gotten rid of those 4 lbs but just can't figure out why I seem to be stalled during Induction.
Any help or encouragement you can give me would be appreciated!

These things can happen. And those 4 pounds up...is JUST water weight..dont fret.
As it takes 3500 calories above the maintaining calories to make 1 pound..so 4 pounds is ALOT. So dont fret. And remember drinking water..sheds water weight.
Our bodies will hang on to ever last ounce of water...unless it knows it will get more.
Stalls can happen...usually in week 3-6...but hang tough..as this plan does work..and it WILL work.
I am a scale-a-holic so this is a pot calling the kettle black...but try staying clear of your scale for a few weeks.
And also..sometimes the scale may not be moving downward..but the inches are..have you measured yourself?? Dont forget to do that.
Pounds is not what people see..inches are..so hang in there
