I'm just learning how to post on this forum. But I Have been doing atkins for 10 years off and on . Before and between having three children. I was always able to lose the weight very quickly once I had a child. That was before all of these wonderful low carb options . Now I have 45lbs to lose and it seems harder this time . I wonder if it could be the new products? Any thoughts? Maybe someone else has some idea's that could help. [Confused] [Wink]

Brandie,
I definately think that the new low-carb food options have something to do with it. Many of them are using ridiculous artificial ingredients, sugar alcohols, unhealthy oils, etc. I think these days, keeping it simple will be the best way to lose quickly and healthfully. Sticking with natural foods like organic meats and veggies would be much better for you. Plus I have to wonder if these strange new ingredients they're coming up with could cause water retention or glucose spikes. We really don't know much about the newer foods and their ingredients.

TIFFANY ,thanks for the info. I am definatly going to cut down on the low carb snacks. I'm sure it's causing water retention . Also terrible head aches. Thanks again.
