I am a 48 year old Atkins follower. I started in Jan. 2003 and since I have lost 95 pounds. I still have 30 to go, but am having trouble getting that off. Most of my weight loss occured that first year and since Dec. I have not lost any weight or inches. I walk 5 miles almost every morning and attend a Jazzercise class on the average of 4 times a week. I am strict with my low carb lifestyle. I do eat Atkins bars for my sweet treats. I do drink water, however could drink more. I am so frustrated with my body not letting lose of these last 30 pounds..what am I doing wrong? Does a plateau really last for this many months? Anyone with advise please send it my way..thank you.
