I stated Adkins in August and was very excited about weight loss until recently. I have been stuck or stalled at 239 since 11/18/03. I keep a journal daily and recognize some carb creep. I recently purchased the book The Secret to Low Carb Success! Excellent. I have lots of questions but this specific inquiry is concerning the supplements I am suppose to be taking but have not. I need to get back on for other health reasons but I am concerned about fillers, etc. in these supplements. 1. Is microcrystalline cellulose a carb? 2. What about cellulose coating? 3. My L-Glutamine has rice flour listing in other ingrediants, 500 mg. What do I count? 4. My vit. E has Glycerin? Is this a problem? 5. Lipo-Similase, a digestive ensyme has both cellulose and maltodextrin. Is this a sugar and should I look for another enzyme or count a carb? 6. I take Isocort for adrenal exhaustion which has a pellet base of Lactase and Lactose? Help? 7. Vit D has both potato starch and Rice Bran. Help?
What do I do with this? Where do I go for information? Or is there someone out there who has had this issue? Soumya
