I have a real problem with snacking in the evening does anyone else have or had this problem? Let's discuss some ways of getting out of the pm snack mode. What did you do to get away from snacking? Come on post those answers don't be shy I need some good ideals and I'm sure there are a few more like me out here looking for ways to lick this. Here's my solution to avoid evening snacking (which used to be my favorite pasttime) - I go to bed earlier! Like even 8:30pm if I'm feeling tempted. As long as I know I ate my dinner, and I don't NEED to eat, then I can tell myself I'm not in need of food. I'm ALWAYS in need of sleep! Posts: 16 | From: USA | Registered: Feb 2002

Honestly, I don't see a problem with evening snacking. Just be sure it's stuff like cheese and devilled eggs.. not candy or popcorn or anything like that.
A suggestion if you really want to stop: find a hobby! If you watch tv in the evening, I can see why you're snacking. It's hard not to when you see the commercials come on for Doritos and stuff.
Another suggestion: Whenever you feel like snacking, make a sno-cone! Crush some ice in the blender and flavor it with a low-carb or no-carb syrup like Atkins or DaVinci. It'll get you over the need to chew, and it won't do anything but help you with your daily water intake!!!

Thank you for all the replys. I will try some of them out. Tonight I am putting my fingers and mind to use by visiting this site and if you knew how long it takes me to type you would know how long I have been setting here being good tonight. Tiff do you think you can add spell checking? You can tell why some of use might need it just a little!!
