I eat the low carb chocs from Russell Stover.

Total Carb - fiber - sugar alcohols = NET CARBS

Net Carbs are the only thing you need to worry about as those are the only ones that effect your blood sugar. Be sure it says "sugar alcohols" and not sugar.

Be sure to look at their serving size as well. The ones I get are bite-sized individually wrapped pieces. It may come up to saying they have something like 3 carbs. But their serving size is 5 pieces! That make the Net Carbs for each piece something like .6!

Some of their Sugar Free stuff is actually appropriate for low carb dieting as well.

low-carbin and loving it!

My favorite of the new Russell Stover candies is the Sugar Free Pecan Delights. The package I buy has two bars (1.6 ounce total), and has under 3 net grams for the package. Yes, these are real Pecan Caramel Turtles.

Only one watch out: These are SO good.... but watch the sugar alcohol if you are sensitive to it. There are 20 grams of Maltitol per serving. I know, you don't make THAT mistake more than once or twice.

I've purchased these at Kroger and they are usually less then $.50 per package.
