Does anyone have a recipe for quiche? Mostly I would need the recipe for a pie crust. The rest is pretty easy. Or, do we know what co. makes low-carb pie crusts, and which stores carry them? Sorry to post this here. There's not really a section for eggs. Thanks.

Why bother with a crust? I don't use them. I even found that a Stop and Shop supermarket nearby carrys a crustless quiche with 7 grams of carbs per serving.

Needless to say you use a non stick pan.......if you let it cool down a little it tends to pull away fron the sides by itself. You can also run a flexible heat resistant spatula around the pan.

This is a staple of ours and we normally just throw in whatever we have on hand...left over ground beef and cheese for a cheeseburger quiche, broccoli and ham and cheese, spinach and mushrooms, etc...you get the idea! These are great to have in the freezer or just use the recipe when you need. You can also cook and cut and freeze in individual servings. A pretty versatile food!!
Quiche in a Bag
6 eggs 1 cup cream 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese 1/2 pound bacon -- cooked and crumbled 1 teaspoon basil 1/2 teaspoon garlic 1/2 teaspoon salt
Beat eggs and cream together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into quart size freezer safe zipper bag. Label bag. When ready to prepare, defrost in frig overnight. Pour into greased pie plate. Bake in 400°F-200°C oven for 35-45 minutes.

Thanks for the input, I don't have a recipe that I use a lot, I would probably just use the one out of the Betty Crocker cookbook that I have. I've always liked that one.
