I read about this quite recently on the net and had to try them. Have tried the cauliflower sub. (OK) and the celery root sub (yuck) and the turnip sub (UGH) This I like and my Very picky daughter liked! After I boiled them I sliced them added salt and pepper and fried them in oil. Then I had "home Fries" with my eggs!! Yippee!! The radish skin even tastes like red potato skin.....or maybe I have been on this WOE too long...hehehe

Radish-Taters

Clean a bag-full of regular everyday radishes.
Place in a saucepan with enough water to cover them.
Boil for 25 minutes.
End result: looks like and tastes like boiled red new potatoes.
The cooking leeches out the "bite" of the radishes.
Serve with corned beef & cabbage for a taste treat, just buttered with salt
and pepper.
