Hi, just wanted to introduce myself to the newsgroup. I and my husband started a low carb diet in the middle of October. So far, I have lost 25 pounds and he has lost about 15. In December, we didn't really try to lose or gain, just maintain. Boy, that was hard, being around all the cookies and goodies people would bring into the office everyday. Our office loves to eat those kinds of goodies, but I have noticed that my cravings have gone down for those. Anyway, I weigh 210 right now and want to weigh 165. Just wanted to share my story with you all. It looks like a lovely website and hope to meet some of you guys.

Hello, thought you would like a low carb diet pal.Sounds like our weights are simular & goals are the same. I lost 70lbs on the Protien Power diet 5 years ago,it was so easy then.I've gained 50lbs back and just can not stay on any food program.Today has been a good day, it's pretty here today and I could work outside trimming grapevines. Hope I don't blow it tonight. Good luck to you . works@home
