Monday night, we are going to a banquet that will be serving pizza, pasta, I'm wondering what to do. We have to pay $11 so I feel that I should eat something but what? Any help would be appreciated.

JoAnn,

Chances are there will be salad there. I would suggest avoiding the temptation or pressure of the pasta or pizza and filling yourself up with salad. If you feel you MUST have some, eat a high-protein meal before going, that way you will be too full to overindulge on the bad foods.
Good luck! Let us know how it went.

I did very well at the banquet- ate the salad and just had the topping off the pizza. I felt very good about passing up the pasta and not eating the crust of the pizza. Now I know that I can do it! Especially with Easter coming up!
