I am new to this forum. I have had success with Atkins in the past but could not see it as a way of life. I loved that I was rarely hungry but feel that I need a daily food reward such as pudding (forbidden on Atkins) so I think this diet will work much better for me. I do have one question. I see no problem with the 2 complementary meals a day and a reward meal, low carb high protein keeps me very satisfied. However I like to have a glass of wine after my kids go to bed a few times a week or once a week have a coffee (with milk or half & half) mid-morning with friends. Will this sabotage the CAD diet? I had a high score on the CAD test but I do not have addiction when it comes to dry wine or coffee, can always stop at one.
