I have been trying to conceive *agressively* for the past 3 years... RE diagnosed me as *borderline* PCOS, saying my IR levels were in the very low range... etc... My cycles are extremely regular(like clockwork!)- I don't have any cysts (lap was very good) My only *symptoms* of PCOS might be the *wild* chin hairs (all 7 of them, that I pluck regularly-less often now since low carbing-yeah!) Been on metformin for year & half!
Anyone get pg after bout with IF, just by low carbing? (well, of course by having intercourse too! LOL)
Thanks for any success stories!

Hi! I have PCOS as well.I got preg. by taking fertility drugs ( clomid/provera) It took me a while but it happened. I knew another lady who was having lots of trouble and she tried IF and low-carbing. She got preg. soon after. She was well overweight (as am I thanx to PCOS ) and after losing a bit of weight she got preg. The doctor told her that it was her weight keeping her from having a baby. I don't know if your overweight, but that could be a factor. Plus if you smoke that really hurts the process. (Excuse my spelling tonight I am very tired )good luck dejrfn8 (christy)

It's been awhile since you posted, I'm just wondering if you had any success. I also have POCS, and the same sort of history as you (ie. no cysts visable, regular periods, the odd chin hair). I was on the low carb diet for about a month and got pregnant. I also have a friend who had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time and was able to once she started on the low carb diet.

Hi there ladies I also have pcos and i am ttc my second child now. DD #1 is almost 9years old. We have been trying for about 5years on and off. I finally 3years ago found out i had pcos. On another website i have seen success stories with lcing and pcos. Also my doc recommended it. I am anxoius to hear any ofyour news
