I am new to this forum but thought I would share my weight loss tips.
I have lost 52 pounds since Jan.1,04.
I take 1200-1800 mg of calcium per day, only take 600mg each time as body cannot take or use more than that. Calcium helps rid fat and keeps it at bay.
Another thing I take is fish oil capsules each day.
I drink 1 oz of water for each pound I weigh.
I try to do at least 20-30 min per day of excersizes or at least three times per week.
I eat Atkins endulge ice cream bars if I get the urge for something sweet.
I like to alternate my carb intake each week.
One week eat 5 or less grams each day, then next week 10-20 carbs per week then back down to 5 again. Keeps my body guessing.
I do this w/my excersizing too!
I use body firming lotion in morning and at night religiously. I get mine at the bath and body works store. It has caffiene in it.
I thought I would need stomach tuck but not no more.
I treat myself after losing 20 pounds to something.
My first 20 pound loss I bought me tanning sessions, (I still go.)
My second 20 pound loss I treated myself to a body wrap, this was great!
I am now waiting to lose another 8 pounds then I will treat myself to something else for losing another 20 pounds.
This will make it 60 pounds loss.
Right now I have lost a total of 52 pounds since January.
I also take the carb manager from body by jake.
I drink the Eas low carb drinks sometimes to replace a meal. These are great compared to the atkins drinks.
I always keep a carbolite candy bar or low carb bar in freezer(a stash of them) so that when I get tempted to eat something sweet other than a atkins endulge bar I have it and it keeps me from losing control.
I don't know about some of you woman but when it is that time of the month for me I crave chocolate!
