Hello! I am new to thisc site. I have been low carbing since Mon. Nov. 26th and have lost 5 lbs so far. (Started at 194 and now at 189). The first time I lived this lifestyle was in 2002 and I went from 145 to 120 and really felt and looked great and found low carb so easy to stick to. I gained 70lbs during my 2nd pregnancy in 2004 and I got down to about 155 without any dieting. But since Nov. 2006 I gained almost 50lbs (I stopped smoking and had been taking antidepressants for awhile which probably contributed to some of the weight gain.) My self esteem is low now that I have gained so much weight, and I hope that this works for me again like it did before. I have not had cravings yet. When is it OK to drink Miller Lite or low carb beer or wine? I've been craving a cold beer while I watch NFL on Sundays! Anyway, nice to be a part of your group, and if y'all have any tips for plataeus or easy recipes for cheesecake let me know!
