I think you're getting a good start. An average of over two pounds a week is good progress. Hopefully you'll keep this weight loss up. I lost twenty pounds in ten weeks- Then I went six weeks without losing any weight. But I lost 7 inches around my hips.
Finally, this week I lost 3.5 more pounds. So , even though it seems slow, in 16.5 weeks, I've lost 23.6 pounds. That seems substantial to me. That's worth it!
Think about how much weight you will have lost by Christmas. At two pounds a week, you could lose over 100 pounds in a year!
When I consider how many years it took to ut this weight on, it makes me feel better about being patient. That's the ticket. Just put your head down, follow the program, don't give up, and you will lose weight.
What is your goal?
Be sure and measure your hips waist bust and thighs for an encouraging boost. Even when it doesn't seem like you are losing weight, usually you are losing inches. Keep it up and please keep posting!
