Hey there. I'm by far not even close to being new to low carb eating - but I'm new to this board. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I've been fighting an uphill battle being a binge eater and I'm working on that. My highest weight that I know of was around 284. I lost a lot of weight after I got divorced in 1999 - in 2 years, I had lost about 80 lbs - doing low carb for about a year. I've been on and off the wagon since and got serious about it about this time last year when I weighed in at 239 again and dropped to 190 by May 15th. Then on a total whim, I accepted a new job 1300 miles away, moved and gained back 40 lbs. I've since lost 10 of those pounds. I'm having trouble getting back to being right with myself. I used to run for an hour a day and lift weights for 45 minutes a day - along with eating very wisely. Its been hard getting back there - I'm doing okay food-wise right now, but I can't seem to get the exercise back - I have no energy - not because of the diet, but other aspects of my life draining me. Right now I have energy, but by the time I get home, I'll only have enough energy to plop on the couch and sit there. I stare at my treadmill and my weights and I long to be able to use them. I've tried and I just have the most absolute exhaustive feeling. I see the doctor on Wednesday to see what's wrong with me. Possibly hormonal was his answer (I have problems in the girly area that are being taken care of this week too - without too much detail, I have endometriosis and PCOS) I have always had these, and I never had an issue with lethargy, but this time I seem to. So I'm trying to get myself outta my funk and I"m kinda looking for somewhere to document my progress and look for support. So I hope I'm welcome here. Thanks all
