Sometimes it can be tough joining a forum - not knowing what some of the abbreviations or jargon are.
Here are a few tips:
1. When adding your stats to your signature, the usual format is something like 178/130/130. The first number is your START weight. The middle is your CURRENT weight. And the end number is your GOAL weight.
2. LC or L/C mean "low-carb."
3. b/c means "because."
4. btw means "by the way."
5. When carbs are expressed, it's usually as grams. If you see 7g next to a recipe, it means it has 7 grams of carbs.
6. Since this is a U.S.-based board, you will see "lbs." a lot. This is "pounds" (the American version of weight.)
7. LOL means "Lots of Laughter."
8. DH means "Dear husband."

If anyone else can think of other common jargon used here on the boards, please chime in. Thanks!

I've seen "WOE" way of eating used on other boards. Then you just indicate Atkins, South Beach, or any particular plan that you're following. My "WOE" right now is just generic low carb.
