Hi Sugarbaby here...I am taking the plunge...the leap of faith!
Never done online support and only tried Atkins 20 yrs ago...
I have diabetes and am on meds...my sug keeps going up...I am short of breath and ache all over.
The doc says the next step is insulin...and maybe a gastric bypass? Don't want to go there...
I need to lose a person...150# Tired of carrying extra ME around.
Need all the encouragement and advice I can find...I have nothing to lose and everything to gain but not any more pounds!!! Thanks for any help or advice on kicking this off and keeping the ball rolling.

Yes, yes, yes.....this will help. I personally am doing South Beach. Atkins did nothing for me. SB was designed by a cardiologist to help his patients with heart disease. By changing your blood chemistry you lower your glucose levels...My mother and brother had sugar levels of 279 and 250.....now they are 147 and 124...........get the book from the library for which ever diet you want to do and read it. Come back with any questions but you need to read the book first.
